Amber Daines is a self-made CEO, best-selling author and media junkie who is a mother to two boys under 8 years of age. A former international TV and print journalist turned PR powerhouse, she has worked in the communications world for two decades. She is also an avid art collector and philanthropist. Her first baby is media training and presentation skills business Bespoke Communications which in 2017 is 10 years young.
At just 21, Amber won a coveted Walkely Award for excellence in reporting the Asian financial crisis of the late 1990s. She been a nominee in the 2013 and 2014 Telstra Business Women’s Awards and headed up a series of award-winning PR business and crisis communications campaigns in her 20s and 30s. Amber has contributed to scores of blogs, articles and books over the years, and in 2013 launched her first self-published title ‘Well Spun: Big PR and Social Media Ideas for Small Business’.
Amber’s latest book and video series ‘Well Said: How to be Heard in Business and Generate Real Influence’ shares her latest proven tools and tips, and showcases simple methods to help anyone’s ideas to be shared more successfully. It also features 25 interviews with prominent leaders of all ages and career stages, who have mastered how to speak up and be heard with authenticity.
